As a 20-year veteran of the Phoenix Fire Department, Joel serves alongside the men and women who protect us every day. With additional resources to address a shortage of police officers and 911 dispatchers, Joel believes that we can improve the safety and quality of life in our neighborhoods, business districts, and parks.

As a candidate for Board of Supervisors, District 1, Joel pledges to:

• Increase incentives for regional cooperation

• Support ongoing efforts by the Sheriff’s Office to work in partnership with residents for safer communities

• Address the dispatcher shortage at critical 911 call centers by providing additional resources for hiring and retention

• Ensure that everyone using our county’s lakes and parks, as well as residents of unincorporated areas, are safe
