Joel Navarro was born and raised in Tempe and is a fourth generation Arizonan who has spent most of his life in the Valley of the Sun.
With a commitment to public safety, Joel has served as a trained firefighter/paramedic with the Phoenix Fire Department since 1995. He is presently Deputy Chief and oversees Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Fire District and its Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) program.
